Bangladesh Water and Power Engineers Association (BWPEA) is one of the country’s most prestigious non-political professional organizations, representing graduate engineers from all disciplines over 60 years. BWPEA is committed to uniting engineers of the Water and Power Wings to contribute effectively to national development with focus on irrigation, water resources management, flood control, river research, climate change adaptation, erosion protection, power generation, transmission and distribution systems. The Association also works to strengthen professional excellence, protect the rights and dignity of engineers as well as promote their social, economic and cultural welfare.
